Please kindly note that thread count is often a term used to describe linens, while most fabric materials are measured by their GSM (Grams per Square Meter).

The GSM represents the weight of the fabric when you take a sheet of the material which is one (1) meter by one (1) square meter and weigh this in grams (g/m2). As thread count and GSM represent different methods of measuring, there is no comparison between the two.

The GSM of our Reusable Cloth Masks is 180 and our cloth fabric (the fabric that comes in contact with the skin) is 100% cotton.

For reference, a medium-weight GSM is 150-350 GSM and a heavy-weight is considered to be 350+ GSM (i.e., a PVC isolation gown).
